This training program is aimed at CNC machine tool programmers, operators and maintenance technicians that help to utilize the machines to the fullest capacity from spindle perspective. Right understanding among the technical group is the expected outcome of this training session. This program is custom tailored based on the types of machine tools used in the organisation.
- Know your Spindle– Theory This session covers basic design concepts of CNC machine tools and Spindle. Topics on power- torque and power-speed characteristics of spindle motor, spindle acceleration and deceleration, metal removal rate (MRR), effect of spindle and tool balancing, L/D ratio of tools, spindle run-out and rigidity, symptoms of bearing failure, spindle alarms and troubleshooting , encoder and sensors adjustment, through spindle coolant and filtration, ATC and turret alignment etc are covered
- Hands on training to do spindle periodic inspection
- Failure analysis and reporting
